One of the coolest coffee spaces in LA. The whole place feels like a vintage lounge with walnut wood paneling, old oil paintings, and a big tufted leather couch you just want to sink into. That stained glass window by the patio is stunning when the light hits it. Coffee was great too and I appreciated that they partner with a local nonprofit. Whether you're working or just hanging out, it's such a comfortable spot. Highly recommend.

This is the best coffee shop in West Hollywood. Highly recommend you visit when in the area! Great coffee, great atmosphere, and extraordinary talent behind the counter. The service can’t be beat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Make sure to check out Danielle off of the patio!! She has beautiful unusual treasures and she does a great tarot reading!!!!

This has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in LA, my go to place to work on projects or hang out with my family! Firstly, artisan, complex coffee is a must for me. Hario pour over single origin beans, Cartel has incredible coffee. It’s a pleasure to sip and enjoy the complexity. The space itself is just as special. The interior is full of hand-built walnut, full of warmth and craftsmanship. There's a beautiful stained glass window, original paintings on the walls, and a skylight that fills the whole room with natural light. The seats are genuinely some of the most comfortable I've found anywhere, and yes, there are plugs at the tables, which makes it a wonderful place to settle in and get work done. When you want some fresh air, there's a lovely outdoor patio, and there's an art shop in the back that's a treat to explore. What I appreciate most is how much thought and heart has clearly gone into every detail, from the coffee to the woodwork to the art. It's a place that feels made with love, and it shows. If you're in the area, I can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful space- such a different aesthetic compared to most coffee shops. The inside is warm and earthy. The back patio was super quiet and perfect for a morning coffee. The coffee and service, by the way, was fantastic. Just what the neighborhood needed.

I’m from Mesa, Arizona so having Cartel in LA is amazing. They’re even bringing the Nami caramel for one of their seasonal drinks. This is the first drink I will try at the grand opening. Nami is a vegan baked goods, vegan Dairy Queen place on 7th Street in Phoenix. I feel 28 again—that’s the first time I ever went to Cartel in 2013 by ASU in Tempe on Ash Avenue. I used to be in a cosplay group by complete accident. Someone very creative in the group offered to make my outfits and we did many photo shoots throughout Phoenix. We did a few photoshoots at Cartel in Tempe in 2013 where I dressed up as Lisa Loeb. Then later as some sort of female mobster who enjoys jazz. We looked more like a band shooting a music video. I just can’t believe Cartel is here in LA. So much nostalgia for me. I can’t get over their mochas. That’s my go to order. 🤩 Thank you Cartel for planting yourself in LA. It means a lot to me as you can probably tell. It’s like coming home. P.S. I added some photos from my visit today. I met one of the managers Christian. Olivia the Cartelista was great too. I also met the owner of Treasures Tea & Tarot and found out she curated the decor. It really feels like a
